b) Field engineering at construction projects and plant facilities providing structural design including new and retrofit design, forensic evaluation, associated repair recommendations and comprehensive engineering / contractor interface.
c) Area of technical specialties include: conceptualization and development of technical content of detailed design changes including comprehensive installation criteria and construction documents, project coordination from design stage through implementation involving extensive contractor interface, investigation and resolution of construction contingencies through retrofit and on-location redesign.
d) Previous experience includes bilateral design / field engineering involving direct and comprehensive contractor interface at nuclear power facilities within Ohio and Michigan. Responsible for analysis and design of reinforced concrete and structural steel building modifications and facilities improvements, design of specialized lifting beams and corresponding safe load studies for handling heavy loads.
e) Specialized in field of Fall Protection engineering, implementing fall hazard control measures in accordance with OSHA and ANSI requirements.
f) Other related experience includes construction inspection, civil/ survey/ facilities drafting.

1) Project Manager; Middough, Inc., Cleveland, OH
Manage engineering projects for proposed multimillion dollar industrial upgrades and retrofit of steel mill facilities for ArcelorMittal, AK Steel and US Steel. Responsibilities include planning, tracking and organization of project requirements via preparation of engineering proposals, project specifications, design studies and cost estimates in collaboration with corporate staff resources, client meetings and associated project budget. Coordinate efficient use of resources to accomplish conceptual, preliminary and final design, through project delivery. Provide engineering leadership and direction to project staff relative to development of scope, schedule, budget and design parameters to meet project objectives as defined by the client.

a) Civil Structural Facilities Engineer / Project Manager
Extended jobsite assignment at General Motors Corp. Press Metal, Powertrain and Powerhouse facilities in Parma, OH performing project engineering / project management of facilities related and fall protection design projects. Facilities engineering responsibilities included redesign / retrofit of existing structures/ components to accommodate ongoing plant modernization, pressline renovations, new automation, quick die changes and facilities maintenance. Parallel duties included plantwide fall protection engineering in accordance with OSHA regulation 29CFR-1910 and ANSI standard Z359.1 methodology based upon the hierarchy of controls as established by the National Safety Council. Developed technical content of detailed design changes, generated detailed construction drawings, provided construction coordination, and resolved maintenance issues. Simultaneously functioned as site qualified person for Fall Hazard Control Program providing integral Safety department interface and support. Additional duties included contract administration and management of plant wide maintenance of railroad system and escalator and elevator units.

Site assignment at Cleveland Electric Illuminating Co.’s, Perry Nuclear Power Plant. Responsible for evaluation, analysis, and design of structural steel and reinforced concrete building modifications of facility structures to accommodate new equipment and revised architectural parameters.
